Nina Las Vegas and Swick return today to present three new remixes of their 2025 collaboration featuring Amsterdam-based triple threat singer, songwriter and producer Zanillya ‘Shot Caller’, with contributions from NASH, Shuga, and Benedict JamesLISTEN HERE

Capturing the forward-thinking world of two club music scene leaders, ‘Shot Caller’ traversed Nina and Swick’s synonymous club styles and converged their singular forces like you’d never heard before. Uniting their club roots, the release marked the pair’s first release since 2019’s ‘Tananaram’ and saw support across triple j, BBC Radio 1, fbi radio, NTS, Reprezent Radio and more, with triple j dubbing the release as “quite the return”.

Twisting the original into new depths of sound, today they call on Delhi’s NASH, Geelong-based Shuga and Australian/Swiss Benedict James (FKA Kilter) for three dancefloor-commanding reworks. We see Shuga traverse reggae, breakbeat and future bass, Benedict James with a feel-good tech house cut and NASH brings a laidback UKG to the fold to mark his first official production release, of which he shares “UK Garage and UK bass have always been a big influence on how I play and listen to music, so working on ‘Shot Caller’ just felt right. I had a lot of fun building it out and leaning into that sound, while still making it feel like my own. It also means a lot to have my first label release on NLV, a platform that’s consistently pushed forward-thinking club music. Nina has been such an important voice in this space, so it’s really special to be part of it.”

For Nina Las Vegas, the remixes were almost self-selecting. As she puts it, “Each artist reached out to us before we even asked. It’s so cool to see this track is still getting strong support in clubs all over the world – excited to put more Nina Las Vegas and Swick out soon!”

Nina Las Vegas’ impact and legacy within the club eco system extends across decades and borders, with her eponymous record label NLV Records championed for it’s forward-thinking, diverse and original club music that has shaped the landscape of electronic music in Australia and beyond, with releases home to Ninajirachi, Anna Lunoe, Lady Shaka and more. In addition to NLV Records, her own musical output and endeavours expands to four EPs, remixes and collaborations with artists like Charli XCX, Cashmere Cat, Anna Lunoe and more, alongside extensive tours across North America, UK, Europe and Asia, curations for Prada and Armani Exchange and ambassador work for Nike Football, Women’s World Cup, Tennis Australia and Football Australia

As a solo producer, Swick has quickly gained a reputation worldwide for his tight drums, energetic synths and genre-defying output. In his extensive career, he’s worked with the likes of Tkay Maidza, Kota Banks, Big Skeez and more, blending dancehall, grime and hyperpop into his bold club-ready sound. His forward-thinking productions also extend internationally, with credits alongside Diplo on ‘Keep It Gully’ / ‘Dat A Freak’ (the latter which became the basis for Jennifer Lopez’s USA certified platinum record single ‘Booty’), Big Zuu, Kamakaze, King Doudou and for his work with M.I.A., with production credits on Mata and herrecent gospel-driven bass project M.I.7.
