Eora-based electronic producer, songwriter and DJ Ninajirachji’s debut mixtape ‘Second Nature,’ gets remixed on her latest EP, out NOW on Nina Las Vegas’ NLV Records.
Naarm-based producer Yash Bansal gives ‘Crush Me’ a hyperactive, drum and bass re-do, pushing the experimental sounds from the original in new directions.
‘Things I Never Nu’ receives a digitised baile treatment from Naarm producer Horlin. The track has a darker feel, with
Nina’s vocals pitched down and chopped over gritty bass.
‘Can’t Wake Up’ is transformed by Paris into a club-ready, house banger. Featuring sugary synths and heavenly risers.
‘Start Small’ has been given a house re-working by 19 year-old Mau5trap signee, Lamorn. Lamorn holds onto the euphoric essence of the original track, with sparkly appregiated synths and reverb-drenched vocal chops.
‘Start Small’ also gets a club-ready makeover from producer and DJ Motez. Approaching the track with a gritty house beat, his remix contrasts Ninajiachi’s whispered vocals. Motez says of the collaboration, “I normally don’t do remixes, but in this case I LOVED what Ninajirachi made, it sounds like nothing out there.”
Ninajirachi‘s ‘Second Nature Remixes’ are out NOW via NLV Records.
