After the futuristic nostalgia of last month’s single “Secretive!”, today Australia’s most dynamic progressive pop duo Ninajirachi & Kota Banks unveil another taste of the deluxe edition of their critically acclaimed True North project with new track “Slytherin”.

Conversely to “Secretive!” and its glistening electronic pop, “Slytherin” is a low-slung, off kilter rap number that’s as heavy on bass as it is on fun. Kota‘s delivery simultaneously exudes a confident attitude and electrifying colour, with x-rated raps over a forward-thinking yet bombastic instrumental making for a powerful, confident female-positive anthem.

“Slytherin” is the second single from Kota Banks and Ninajirachi’s forthcoming True North (Deluxe) release. Sonically and thematically the sequel to 2020’s single “Opus”, “Slytherin” is as wild as it is hook-filled.
