Drawing on her connection to her Egyptian heritage, Nina Las Vegas‘ ‘Deserts’ came as a vocal-driven standalone single that was equal parts ballad & party anthem.

Co-written and produced with Swick, ‘Deserts’ remains one of Nina‘s most personal tracks to date. In the track’s lyrics, she spins a compelling story of her father’s journey to Australia from Egypt in the ’60s. She juxtaposes the brevity of the story with a free-flowing yet punchy drop, adding a bit of club flavour into the mix to make it an inherently Nina Las Vegas track.

The cover art is designed by Nina herself, & prominently features a photo taken by her father upon his return to Cairo in 1997.
