Ninajirachi unveils her new single – the electroclash ‘Fuck My Computer’. LISTEN HERE.

Following her most recent single ‘All I Am’ – which skyrocketed with global support across triple j (reaching #1 Most Played on the station) and marked her debut entry in the ARIA singles charts – Ninajirachi’s momentum shows no sign of slowing down. Recently named Spotify’s EQUAL Ambassador for April and selected by Rolling Stone AU/NZ as part of their ‘Future of Music’ list, she continues to establish herself as one of the most innovative and distinctive producers emerging today.

Amongst scores of career highlights, from headlining shows across three continents, to her co-headline tour with umru and Australian tour with Porter Robinson, she’s also ticked off three iterations of her flagship club event Dark Crystal, with the fourth edition taking place this August featuring umru and MGNA Crrrta. 

‘Fuck My Computer’ is a driving cut that further solidifies the timelessness of Ninajirachi’s calling card and extension of herself – her computer. As her sonic diverse world quickly expands, Ninajirachi takes a moment to reflect on her computer’s consistency as an emblem that has uncovered unimaginable worlds, defied boundaries in dance music categories and found a space where virtual limits don’t exist in an unfiltered gen Z EDM revival.

Standing as a high-frequency, super-charged, cathartic release that captures the spirit of the project’s glitched-out, head-spinning songcraft, of ‘Fuck My Computer’ Ninajirachi shares, “I spend more time with my computer than anyone. I grew up with it, it has shaped me. It’s both good and bad but either way I wouldn’t know who I am without it” she shares. “All of my music is computer music, I just use the keyboard and trackpad. FMC happened last year after feeling frustrated that we’re still separate. The brain to machine bandwidth never feels fast enough and I think I could make better music if we just merged completely. I think about it all the time. Probably still a while off though.”
