Gold Fang, the Eora/Sydney Reggae and Dancehall trailblazer, today emerges with his new single ‘OneFiftySix’. LISTEN HERE

Following on from his latest single ‘Facelift’ featuring 1st Klase Records founder 1st Klase, Gold Fang’s brand of proficient storytelling extends in ‘OneFiftySix’,exploring deeper themes of cultural experience and existing between two worlds. Gold Fang shares “Most times dem Wah tell we what to do like if them born in we shoes. Or like them know what bout we culture more than we. And I say we as ghetto youths…Every trend, style, sound come from minorities.WE BELIEVE IN WE … And if dem nah Wah share the riches. WE TAKING IT…simple…Either me dead or me bloodcaart rich!”

Distilling Gold Fang’s Caribbean influences in their most pure form, ‘OneFiftySix’ takes charge through reverberating basslines, timed drops and amped alt-rap influenced vocals. Born from a collaborative production that began at the ARIA Collab recording session this March, ‘OneFiftySix‘ brings together Chandler Jewels (OneFour), WondaGurl (Travis Scott), London Cyr, and Jeeks to push an industrial tone and further highlight Gold Fang’s ability to command full attention, continuing to illustrate his effortless ability to adapt his songwriting wherever his instincts take him.

Since the release of his debut mixtape SMOOVE KILLA in 2023, Gold Fang has steadily solidified his spot at the forefront of the thriving Afro-Caribbean space. Embraced by the likes of triple j, FBi Radio, COLORSxSTUDIOS, Red Bull, NME, Acclaim Magazine, Music Feeds, Sniffers and more, it’s his delivery, cadence and invitation to his sonic world that has established his place in the genre, defining the growing Reggae and Dancehall scene with intent.

Praised for his “smooth grooves of reggae” (triple j) that has “cemented him as a leading artist in a new wave of diverse talent” (Tone Deaf) and “sounds like nothing else in the scene right now” (Acclaim Magazine), he has also celebrated momentum as a live artist with his own More Life party and support slots alongside international heavy-hitters Lil Nas X, Fire Boy DML and J Balvin, played iconic festivals including SXSW SydneyField Day, Splendour in the Grass, Promiseland and Beyond The Valley and more.
